PGL family adventure weekends. Anyone done one?

I'm thinking of booking in a long weekend in the May bank holiday and just wondered if anyone had done one. If so, which centre and what did you think of it? Would you go again?

My children will be 6 and 8. Both are physically confident. Is PGL appropriate for the 6yr old?

Hello. We have. Twice and it was absolutely great fun!
The first time was Caythoroe hall and the second was Barton Hall.
We enjoyed Caythorpe better - we were matched with other one child families and there were supervised activities for the kids in the evening.
Barton hall was lovely too - there's a pool but no supervised activities.
Definitely do it. It's such fun and quite a reasonably priced holiday.
The food isn't great but that didn't bother us.

DS was 8 when we first went. If your 6 year old is confident then it will be more than ok.
There was a 6 year old in our group and he put us all to shame.
Apologies for the multiple messages. Blush

Thanks so much for responding. I really like the look of it, despite the school dinners feel of the food. How was the accommodation?

The accommodation is pretty basic to be honest. We were in shaker style rooms with bunk beds but there's shower / loo in the room.
I brought a kettle and our cold box.
The activities were fun and we had a great time so we didn't mind too much.
