luxury romantic weekend sc venue for 2 - any ideas?

would like to take my equally knakered (Mr knakered) husband away for a week end...bored with hotels as we both stay in loads thru work ...would love a romantic self catering hidy-hole somwwhere...any ideas?

Have you looked at the Landmark Trust or National Trust? Some of their properties are amazing.
