Hotels near Manchester Arena 25 April 2015

I've (very kindly) bought tickets for The Vamps in April and am looking for recommendations on where to stay. We will need 2 rooms as there are 6 of us in total. I would prefer to travel by public transport so good rail/bus links would be a bonus. Any recommendations/places to avoid please?

The budget Radisson near the arena is good. Take the train into Manchester Victoria and the station has an entrance for the arena, and is less than 5 min walk to the hotel.

There is a premier inn nearby too - not stayed there but they are always good

The Premier Inn at Printworks is very close. Victoria is the closest rail station but if yourvtrsin gets into Picadilly you can get around by the free metro shuttle.

The park inn is nice and walking distance of the arena.
