Anglesey - barefoot walk to the beach?

Hiya
Best thing about our holiday in Norfolk last year was how close our chalet was to the beach - being able to walk back from the beach barefoot in wet swimmies was heaven. Fancying the opposite side of the country next.

Can anyone recommend somewhere on Anglesey (or nearby) that close to the beach please? There are 5 of us, happy with a 2bed static caravan if location is right.

oooh, don't know about Anglesey but where did you go in Norfolk?? we had the same in Devon at Bigbury on Sea and it was so nice not wearing shoes for a week!

Was a privately owned 4bed chalet on Bacton Chalet estate 'Home Guard's Cottage'. Think it was on holidaylettings.co.uk but they may have sold it. Worth a google - huge and v cheap.

Sleepless means Dinas Dinlle. You can't walk barefoot to your chalet/caravan there. Definitely not! Fab place to stay, lovely beach but only sandy when the tide is out. Otherwise its pebbly, and you have the carpark & road to cross.

I used to walk barefoot to the beach in Caemes Bay. And Treaddur Bay, but I have very hard feet.

Benllech, it's got a great beach. Going again in August. It's near to Beaumaris which has crabbing off the pier, free mini outdoor pool etc.
