SOMERSET HOUSE - HAVE YOU BEEN ICE SKATING AND WHAT IS THE BEST PACKAGE TO DO?

Looking to do this with ds age 9. There are lots of packages ie just skate, skate and afternoon tea, disco evening ones as well.
Just wondering what you thought

We went early evening on NYE 2 years ago.
Lovely atmosphere, families, couples, groups of friends, no drunks or rowdiness at all.
We just booked the skating, then went to a nearby café to eat.
Actually a few people who had booked packages were complaining that there was nowhere left to sit!

We went on a Sunday in December last year, 9 adults and 7 children 6-7 year olds. We just booked the skating, no problem, nice and easy.

We had dinner afterwards around Covent Garden.

We liked the fact that the children section with their skating aids was separate, no running into competent skaters or annoying because you are slow.
