Anyone gone to CP in Elvedon by train to Brandon?

As we get cheap train tickets just wondering about trying this, the drive up from here is never pleasant and costs a fortune in fuel +stop for lunch etc. Might give it a go!

We have been to Elveden by train. Downside is you can't take much in the way of food. The parcmarket will deliver to the villa if you spend a certain amount.
The taxi from the station wasn't far. We arrived early and they dropped us at the arrivals lodge. We left luggage there and CP delivered it to the villa. We just took swimming stuff and went to get bikes and then to swimming. On our return we phoned for a taxi and CP let the taxi pick us up at the villa. We had to be out by 10 (or 11) but CP said just pack up and leave cases in villa and we clean around them then we met the taxi at the villa about lunch time.

That sounds ok, how far is it roughly from Brandon station to CP?

We went to Flitwick - best bet is to ring a local taxi firm and ask how much it would cost. The new CP at Longleat offers a free transfer service from the station so lets hope all CP do this soon

Flitwick! I have a friend who lives there! Gosh that would be a bonus if they did lay on taxis! Its just always hassle for us getting through the Dartford tunnel, no matter what time we get there we queue for about 45mins!
