London hotel for a special birthday

So I've scrapped Scotland, and am now looking for a London hotel for a couple of nights, can anyone recommend someone nice and a bit special? Preferably with spa/pool facilities but doubtful in the city centre! I'm thinking it will have to be dinner/show/hotel which is a little unimaginative but I'm at a loss for what to do

What sort of budget have you got for this?

I've just been looking at Claridges Blush but on late rooms it would be £900 for two nights and it doesn't have a pool. Gorgeous spa but massively expensive.

Ooh. The Haymarket Hotel looks fab, has a pool and is in the theatre district, and isn't QUITE as stratospherically expensive.

Umm, not that much! Lol. I should have said, a bit special, whilst nothing ridiculous. Realistically £200 per night is the absolute max I can justify...i really can't afford the whole thing at all to be honest, but it's a needs must type situ :-(

Oops sorry! Easy to do fantasy shopping when it's not your cash, isn't it.

Does it have to be 2 nights?

What about a Friday night at Shoreditch House (nonmembers can't book Saturdays), very cool, rooftop pool; then show, restaurant and hire a limo to go home afterwards?

I've wanted to go to the Cheval, three quays for ages.
