Depends what you like doing. Nottingham Contemporary is a lovely gallery. The Castle and its grounds are interesting with art gallery/museum. There's cinema/crazy golf/casino complex at the Cornerhouse if that's more your thing. Obviously tons of shops. Oldest pub in Uk is Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem. You could go down into the caves the city is built on via the Broadmarsh centre-quite interesting tour underground.

Skating or some hotels have spas, but I haven't been to any in the city centre. Where are you going to eat?

Thanks Defineme

Nottingham Comtemporary sounds interesting, have also had a look at the Broadway and there is a film on around 1.30 so could NC, then light bite at Broadway, film then evening couple of cocktails/wines then was thinking of eating at either Browns, Iberico or hub loves Indian and Laguna has been recommended for authentic food

Broadway is a fab cinema and bar. I think Browns needs a revamp, Iberico is lovely for a special meal. I really like Kayal, the South Indian restaurant on the same street as Broadway cinema. It's not posh, but gorgeous food and highly rated.

Cafe de Paris is great for eating as is the small Turkish restaurant whose name I can't remember, off to google it!
Daytime well you could wander round Wollaton park or stay central and do the castle etc

DD and I were in Nottingham on Tuesday with about three hours to kill. We went to the City of Caves, which took about half an hour. It was good.

The Castle cave tours are also very worthwhile.
