Windsor/London over half term - hotel recommendations please

Hi,

We're hoping to spend a day in Windsor and a day or two in London over half term (probably to see a museum or two, maybe a gallery and to see the sights!).

We don't mind where we stay really but we need a family room (2 adults, 2 kids).

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

You can stay at the Holiday Inn, (next to Police station) Windsor plenty of transport to London from Windsor

Travel lodge (ok not really a Hotel but still) is right in the town center so pretty convenient? TBH all of Windsor is fine I can't imagine.

The macdonald hotel is supposed to be nice (www.windsor.gov.uk/accommodation/macdonald-windsor-hotel-p534021)

The best family hotel we have found in London is Premier Inn County Hall
