As above really, we are staying in Conwy for a week in September with a baby and 3 year old. Can you recommend some places to visit please?

Hello, this is my first post ever on MN.
Conwy is a small and very friendly place. You and your family will be fussed over no end.

There's the Welsh Mountain Zoo not far away at all. Aber has a lovely beach and just up the hill, past the ponies, there's spectacular Aber falls - fine for papoosing but probably not a buggy.

Abakhan fabrics is not far. Has play areas and cafés. Don't know what goes on these days but it used to be a real treasure.

I'm sure it's Conwy with 'the World's Smallest House' - great for a photo op. Porthmadog has two steam railways and just up the road is Black Rock Sands where you can drive for miles on the beach. Portmeirion is fascinating.

Beddgelert if you want to cry over a long gone dog. It's beautiful though. Llanberis for the choo choo up Snowden and the biggest most outrageous breakfast designed for climbers but how they'd climb anything after that!

Mold has a massive market on a Saturday morning.

Have a wonderful time. It really is a magical place.

Welsh mountain zoo is fantastic :-)
The great orm in Llandudno is a must. You can go up on a tram then cable cars if your brave enough. The trams accommodate buggies.
Conway castle is nice.

We went to the welsh mountain zoo, pili palas, Llandudno (DS loved the beach and the trampolines on the pier), and we also went to the little beach at Conwy marina. Smile

Rhyl sea aquarium is nice but on the small side though all tickets are day passes so you could go in and out as you please. We have also done Welsh Mountain zoo recently and enjoyed it a lot.

Welsh Slate Museum (yes, really) in Llanberris - DS loved it a a toddler (he is only 5 now!) - steam train, machines, "living history" houses and hospital, running about space, playground....

I second Greenwood Forest Park. Great with little ones.
