Travelling from London to Minehead - Child friendly place to stop?

We are off to Minehead from London in a large group. Have children aged 0-10 years.

I would appreciate any recommendations for somewhere to stop off where the kids can have a good run around for an hour to break up the journey.

Must be able to park a mini bus and not be too off course.

Would be really grateful Grin

Not sure of your route but when we go west from Kent our usual stop is Stonehenge, we dont go round it but park up, use the loos, have our pic-nic and the kids can have a run. Failing that just a few miles further on is the lovely Stourhead gardens National Trust, again we dont pay to visit the house, park up, use the loos, excellent café and shop and plenty of room for a run! Probably both miles off of your route!
