Where is my perfect beach holiday?

Where in Devon/Dorset/Cornwall would I find my prefect beach holiday? I'd like a small 'naice' harbour town (Boden optional) where we can crab along the harbour wall and have a fish n chip supper. I'd also like sandy child-friendly beaches within walking distance with rock pools. The rock pools are very important. Smile know anywhere like this?

Does it have to be those counties?

Because north Norfolk (based in say Cromer - famous for crabs - or one of the villages near there) could be perfect. (Except of course for being totally the wrong side of England, but perhaps an idea to stash away for future).

Cromer. Yes we've done Norfolk before and it's been fab. Thanks for reminding me!

Glad I got the right vibe, even though in the wrong place!

Cawsand/Kingsand in Cornwall.

Went there was nearly-2 and nearly-5 year old last summer. Was perfect.

Whitstable (ok so its not devon and it lacks somewhat in the rock pool department. It does have added boden if thats what floats yer boat)
