Cornwall - suggestions for a lovely but bargainous holiday?

Two adults a three year old and a 9 month old... we want to go at the beginning of September. We have a tent but don't really want to use it for this particular holiday.

Any suggestions for great places to stay that aren't going to break the bank?

Anyone? I've been trawling the internet for ages but just can't get a grip on what I want. All suggestions welcome!

Not sure it fits the bargain bit but Mayrose Farm have lovely cottages and camping. Lots of small animals to feed. Probably cheaper out of season when you want go and good location too. Also swimming pool!

I love north Cornwall so much. I collect the Sun newspaper tokens and our family have had some fabulous holidays at various holiday parks around Newquay and perranporth. We aren't ones for the onsite entertainment, but use them as bases to explore. You might want to look at breakfree holidays too. www.breakfreeholidays.co.uk/
