Does anyone know Doncaster and surrounding areas?

I have left booking a hotel room for the races this Saturday 16 August woefully late, and everything seems booked up

Does anyone know of anywhere just outside of town that would be reasonably accessible to the race course that I could try?

there is owston hall hotel which is about 20min drive from racecourse, you could get a taxi.

the campanile right near the racecourse.

crown hotel at bawtry - a 15min drive.

there is the park inn and travel lodge if you can cope with budget hotels. these would be a 5 min taxi ride from the racecourse.

I think I've messed up. The only thing I can think to do is ring round Friday for cancellations

I have no knowledge, but dont know if any of these 3 can help. Have put in details as 1 room, 2 adults for the Friday and Saturday night, but you can alter as needed.
