Scotland by sleeper - where to stay ( rural)?

I want to take my nine year old on the sleeper to Fort William (or an earlier stop) then stay somewhere along the Glasgow/ Mallaig line for a bit of picturesque walking before doing the last stretch of line. Does anyone have any hotel or other accomodation suggestions? Thank you!

Only ever been past it, but is this the sort of thing you had in mind? www.corrour-station-house-restaurant.co.uk/

Stayed in the Old Library in Arisaig - so sleeper to FW then local train which takes you over the Harry Potter bridge. Also went kayaking in the afternoon surrounded by seals, completely amazing. Did that via the main hotel in Arisaig but just google it. You will have a lovely time. Oatcakes and cheese recommended on the train!

I stayed in the glenfinnan sleeping carriage last week on way back from holidaying on the small isles. Arisaig is nice too, as are beaches at morar.

Always fancied Courour Station as mentioned above; also Bridge of Orchy Hotel is nice

I've stayed in a lovely b&b near cambusdarach beach, it was lovely.
