Bristol balloon fiesta - any ideas where we could stay?

We visited last year and camped, but there is no nearby camping this year. I've obviously left it really late (aug 8/9) and can't find any reasonably prices places for me, DH and 2 under-5 DC to stay. Have any of your Bristol MNers got any good ideas please?

Bristol has a youth hostel on the harbour in great location
If no hotels in bristol have room, could try bath?
Air b n b?
University sometimes has rooms available in holidays

Try the hotels which are part of the Clifton Hotel Group. They are 'cheap and cheerful', but I got a room at short notice last summer.

We've stayed in the Bristol Novotel and also both of the Marriott Hotels (College Green and Town Centre). You can use Tesco vouchers but may be booked up and also may exclude fIesta weekend.

Would avoid clifton as the suspension bridge is shut and it's a bit of a trek around. Travelodge on anchor road would be good and they have a bus from near there which takes you to Ashton court if you don't fancy walking

Holland House Hotel on Redcliffe is an option. 5 mins walk outside of the centre. You could. Ring bikes and cycle to Ashton Court.
