Husband working there , myself and dd (8) travelling down by train to stay for 3 nights. Won't have car. We have 2 days to fill any thoughts? Hotel is right beside wonderland, would that cover it and the park? Saw there is tile painting at one of the museums.

Also food. Thought Woodbridge inn and the lion inn??

Any help gratefully received.
( in Scotland so well into school hols here)

Thanks

Have a look on Tripadvisor. There is quite a lot to do, Might be worth catching a bus to RAF Cosford to see the amazing free museum.

Blists Hill victorian town museum in Ironbridge will keep you entertained for a day. Telford Town Park is very good too but unless it has improved I'd take your own picnic.

Picnic great idea thanks will do. Have a look at tripadvisor too. I've got a leaflet abt the raf museum must look again. Anyone been to wonderland? Not sure if we'd get 2 days out of it? We get free entrance via the hotel.

Thanks

Hope you have has a good time. What did you get up to?

We had a great time thanks, the weather was lovely which helped. We ended up in wonderland twice ( free with hotel). Wasn't sure at first as it's really bit young for dd(8) but she found enough to do We played crazy golf lots, went round shop for ages. Then went to the park as well which has been recently done. Can def recommend, clearly a lot of money being invested. Also went to new library. Also used pool in hotel.

Hi, Shannie

We're also about to stay in Telford for a couple of nights. Can I ask if you found anywhere nice to eat? We will be having two or three light lunches and one 'proper' evening meal. Needs to be child-friendly plus suitable for my fussy DM! Thanks.

We ate in the hotel, which was the holiday inn, it was fine. We got a taxi one night to the Woodbridge Inn which was well worth it. Abt 10 mins in a taxi . They have a website. Hope that helps
