Cheapish hotel/accomadation in Kensington or Mayfair (snort, as if)???

Well I think there is one, a hostel called the Ace Hotel in Kensington but is there anything else?
Anyone have any suggestions?

My SIL is having her hen dooo in london and wants to stay in these areas.
We're going to some spa which I have no idea where it is, a winery (again no idea on location) and then to a show.

She's asked me to have a look on-line but thought I'd ask here first.

not really sure if this is anywhere you want to be, but there's been lots of write ups about

recently about how the blokey who owns it is trying to bring stylish and yet decently priced hotels back into london (he owns pret a manger)

The Hoxton Hotel is in the City and as such a looong way from Kensington - looks nice though and have bookmarked it as am often that way (normally stay at Holiday Inn Express at Old St though).

Am racking my brains for a Kensington hotel - will let you know if I come up with anything...
