Tis beautiful.

Given that, I'd assume Yorkshire until corrected Grin

I don't know but it does look nice

steppemum · 07/05/2014 23:40

I think it might be Bibury.

If so there is a very busy road over the bridge that then comes towards the viewer in front of the hotel.

I am not sure though, it doesn't look quite right.

VivaLeBeaver · 07/05/2014 23:42

Steppe mum, think you're right.

That looks the same to me?

Thanks, I think the Cotswolds might be nice for a little cycling holiday.

I have just googled it and it is Bibury.

very nice village, very touristy

CrystalDeCanter · 07/05/2014 23:43

Though it might be Lower Slaughter but the bridge is v different.

Perhaps it is somewhere in the yorkshire dales - the bridge looks Dales'y' . . .

Sunny days, bike rides, glass of Pims on the river bank. I'm sold for a Cotswolds holiday. Is it hilly round there?

Oh yes Bibury - good call steppmum.

Cotswolds are very lovely, but you need to be good at hills Viva! The valleys are beautiful but the tops can be windy and bleak on a cold day.

umm...

well, the cotswolds are hills and they are very er...hilly Grin
so you would need to be a good cyclist!

Also the prettiest parts are the country lanes and as one who used to live and drive down one, they aren't actually very cyclist friendly!

It is a lovely area though, and very pretty.

steppemum · 07/05/2014 23:47

long uphill slog and then very nice pub!

CrystalDeCanter · 07/05/2014 23:48

The Cotswold villages are REALLY beautiful Viva. I grew up there and love it. But yes, super hilly.

VivaLeBeaver · 07/05/2014 23:49

Mmmm, maybe I'll go to Suffolk instead. Grin

Bibury. Meant to be the most idyllic place in Cotswolds but its not. Far too touristy

Loverofpeas · 18/05/2014 21:43

There's lots of cycling in the Cotswolds. If you want a flatter route try the canal path between chalford and Cirencester. Must also visit the lavender bake house in chalford and stay at the westley farm yurts
