38+3 fed up and feel really bored and left out.

Hi, I'm getting really bored and need to have a moan, waiting for this baby is really frustrating now, I feel I can't make it another week, and it might end up being 3 :-(
We don't have a car and my husband only has a motorbike which he goes to work etc on..
Problem is, he goes places on it and I can't go even going to the shops would be a nice distraction, but the bus makes me feel sick and I struggle with the bags so i can't even buy anything anyway. It's so horrible I'm starting to resent that if he wants to go somewhere or needs to get something, he can just go off and please himself. I feel so stuck :-(

poor you - i felt exactly the same - I felt so isolated I wanted to be back at work - and I was in central London so had lots i could do but waddled like a whale. I wish I had just sat in a park/garden with a book and a coffee as those are the things I have missed since ds is here (but that isn't helpful to you). If this is your first your life will change for ever and you will have a brilliant experience with the new baby but 'me time' will be confined. And in some way you won't mind missing it as you will have a baby you will love to bits.
Do you have friends who can meet you for lunch (I saw working friends and joined a few mums to be NCT style things). I wish i had a pregnancy massage, gone for more swims (you feel weightless and non pregnant), watched more romcoms, gone to the cinema, a haircut, I did have a pedicure (pedicure meant my feet were nice and polish lasted with a summer baby when I had no time to paint nails) much more fun than shopping in my book. But then i'm not really a shopping as a hobby kinda person.
