Things have been a bit.....fraught lately! DH just had a back operation and has mainly been in bed doped up on morphine! He is self employed so I've been working all the hours just to get by. It is his and DD1s birthday over the Easter hols and I would love to get away. Even just for a few days. I am not working over the hols so we're pretty flexible with time. Would like a cottage or, even better, a farm stay.

I need somewhere where DH can just go to bed when he needs to, and there is some outdoor space where the DDs, (8 and 5) can just play. I live in Dorset and would like to be local as a long car ride would be tricky for DH and would like to be not too far from the GP! Anyone got any recommendations? Or know what last minute type sites are good for finding deals like this? I'm rubbish at finding that sort of thing through Google!

TIA

Might be too late now but we have stayed here a few times (last in 2012) near Abbotsbury and is lovely and unspoilt plus v friendly owner and dogs/horses etc hope your DH is better soon.
