Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has been here? I am looking at it as a potential substitute for centreparcs.

thx

It's a gigantic hotel overlooking the M4 motorway (although if you're lucky to have a room facing the golf green you'll think you're in the country side). No comparison with CP for activities

It is a hotel so not self catering. Check the prices of meals and the activities you want to do for a comparison, I would imagine it may end up being more expensive.

Thankyou goose, m4 is not sounding like a great scene

Are you thinking of Bluestone in Pembrokeshire rather than Celtic Manor? As PP says, CM is a large hotel just outside Newport. Approaching from the east it looks like some secret service HQ and certainly not in keeping with the original bit of the hotel that remains.

Excellent for Christmas balls, huge high entrance designed for a huge tree, but not a centre pacs replacement.
