London - any hidden gems near the river?

We're going up to London on Sunday and whilst we were going to do the free bus tour, we've now decided to stay by the river because they weather looks nice.

We are going to go up and down on the Thames Clippers and wondered if there were any hidden or lesser-known things to look at along the river. Preferably near to the piers or not too far away.

Museum of London by the London wall is an interesting place to spend an afternoon. It is a 10 min walk from both St. Paul's cathedral & TAte modern which are all situated along the river. Nearest tube St. Paul's on the central line & overground is the Thameslink.
