ds1 is away , so ds2 and I are having 2 days in london.

He came home today with certificates for excellent attitude etc so as a reward want to treat him.

Saw Alice in wonderland afternoon tea at Sanderson but not at £30.

Any recommendations for treat type places??

If it's milkshake you want, can't beat Ed's Easy Diner (Old Compton Street).

There's a milkshake bar on top floor of the Science Museum if you want to combine trip with treat?

Try the ice cream parlour in fortnum and masons for a knickerbocker glory?

Another vote for Fortnum and Mason!

Most amazing place for ice cream is cafe ciao on charing cross road, pretty much opposite the theatre. They do all sorts of novelty ice creams (think spaghetti bolognese!) but also some fantastic sundaes.
