Big family occasion, West Sussex

We've got a family lunch to organise for a big birthday (older generation) later this year and it should be in West Sussex. Any recommendations? Gravetye Manor is a bit far east but that's the kind of thing. Am drowning in websites...

Try Historic Sussex Hotels. We've stayed at Ockendon (or is it Ockenden) Manor and Bailiffscourt and they are both lovely.

South Lodge is lovely, but £££££...

That means expensive! The chap who won Masterchef is the chef there.
