....should we stay in Shoreditch? We have a recommendation to stay there but I need a second opinion?

Also The Hoxton seems like the place to be there - am I right?

Thanking you very much in advance!!

It depends how old you are. I like it but at 36 was on the older side. I don't mind, would you? Never heard of the hoxton but near the geffrye museum which I love.

Thanks for replying. Am 40. Will ponder. Any alternative suggestions?

Yes, stay in Shoreditch. We are in our early 40's and go out there a lot. We live very close by. Great restaurants, shopping, Colombia Rd Flower market on Sunday morning. What do you like to do?

I am 41 (just)...unless you have someone who could get you in to Shoreditch House then it's a good bet you will be older than the average person hanging out in Shoreditch - so depends how you feel about that Smile.

I'd be more inclined to head for Soho, stay somewhere like Dean St Townhouse or Charlotte St hotel if splashing out. Amazing choice of bars and restaurants and much more mixed crowd.

Horton Square is very close, restaurants, bars, White Cube Gallery is in the Square.
