For a holiday cottage for a week in march. Won't be warm so want lots of cutesy shops and cafes. Traveling with a baby and toddler too!

Tenby is gorgeous as is that part of the welsh coast.

I go to Southwold every year and I also love Tenby.

Not on the coast, but Lincoln is a fantastic city, more cutesy shops and cafés than you can shake a stick at.

Abersoch (but it is small)

Thanks all - I will check out the more southern ones. Need to widen our net a bit in terms of staycations and try new places!

I was trying to do something witty with links to the Seasalt and joules store pages.
You get my drift. Wink

NormanTheForeman · 23/01/2014 15:55

I would also say Whitstable, Salcombe or St Ives.

bialystockandbloom · 23/01/2014 15:55

Many lovely places on north Norfolk coast: Holkham, Wells, Burnham Market, and beautiful long beach to walk along. Near enough Norwich for more to do, shops, cafes etc.

ChippyMinton · 23/01/2014 16:00

Rye, Sussex
Isle of Wight

Dunfanaghy in Donegal in the north coast of Ireland. It is a fab little town by the sea, surrounded by mountains and has lots of little cafes, surf shops and arts and crafts shops. It has a great Jazz and Blues festival on every summer too. As there are so many beaches around they never get busy my favourite beach is marble hill. roseblaneyphotography.ie/projects/dunfanaghy-cresslough-marble-hill-portnablagh/
