Ice Skating Somerset House AFTER Christmas - will London be heaving?

Would love to do this after Christmas and have a look around London, with DS age 8, but am now re-thinking as wondering if London will be heaving?

Wanted to do the ice skating, then maybe go to Harrods and see the lights decorations etc...

We ones went on the 30th December to the Tower and while it was a bit crowded it wasn't too bad.

It helped that the weather was bad Smile

We went last year on NYE and it was fine. The thing about London is, it is big enough to cope with crowds.

The ice rink is gorgeous and very well organised.
