For me the choice would be between big waves (North Cornwall, but try to stay somewhere where you can avoid going into Newquay) or little waves and pretty little rivers (near Helford Estuary).

Heeelllpppp!!!

A bit of a hijack here but we've just come back from Lands End area. Beautiful scenery, beaches, weather (mostly) but so crowded it was a nightmare...and expensive (well I think £1.50 for a single cone of ice-cream is expensive when you've got 3 kids . I've never been there in peak season before. Bit of a shocker....

So next year we've decided to go back to the Fowey area as it's lovely and not so busy. But the quick internet search for self-catering hasn't found anything less than £760 for peak season. So has anyone got any brilliant websites for cheaper houses in St Austell, Fowey, Charlestown area?
