I'm off London this weekend with a close friend for shopping and general touristy stuff . Whilst I visit London a lot with work it's never for a night out so not sure where to go . We are late 30's but like the more lively places . Good bars , cocktails not too young but not too old either. We are staying near the Tower of London but happy to get tube/taxi to get about . What do you think best area is for us to go ?
