Between Christmas and New Year

Is there such a thing as a cheap and cheerful break between Christmas and New Year?

This year is the first time I am taking the full Christmas School Holiday off work. I would like to spend a few days away at the end of December. (3 nights ish)

Quite fancy a secluded log cabin type accommodation. Lots of scenic walks - Away from Wifi!

Midlands area; Yorkshire; Norfolk.

Any suggestions please?

No is the short answer to this one ! when we have rented at this time which we do fairly often with relatives they let for one week at xmas and one week following immediately on for new year. who is going to get staff in on boxing day or new years eve to clean a lodge you have just left? you might get a hotel or b and b deal though. try lastminute-cottages website they are pretty good.

Thank you for your reply. I'll have a look on that website.
