Well, you could visit us

What kind of thing are you thinking of?

Well you're near a few places, depends on what you feel like doing. Kenilworth has a castle, so does Warwick which is (blooming) expensive. Warwick is a nice little town though. Leamington Spa is great for a wander so nice wine bars and a park to sit it. Stratford upon Avon (probably full of tourists) but great wine bars/restaurants and you can have a river trip. I love Stratford and used to go there a lot in the summer.

I reckon you could get here in just under half an hour, or here in about 40 minutes

Hire a canal boat and go for a water picnic, there are a few places that that do little boats just for this purpose not too far from there, one at Knowle I think.
If you like the city you could go into the centre of Birmingham and have lunch there, lots of resturants beside the Mailbox that look out on to Gas Street Basin.

What sort of things do you like to do?

Hi guys

Definatley not a theme park (though thanks for the sugesstion!)

Don'r want to drive too far as we're traveling from N Yorks so will have already done about 3 hours in the car.

Stratford sounds nice. we like little villages, cafes, wine bars etc. Boat trip sounds fab.
