Plymouth nightlife

Hi off to Plymouth for the weekend with dh. Can anyone recommend some good pubs/bars please

Just head to the Barbican, lots of places to eat and drink. Also River Cottage restaurant is a nice place for lunch if thats your sort of thing. Have fun!

Thanks for the reply. We stayed in the barbican and did a massive pub crawl. Dh was based there 23 years ago and we used to go to union street but on our last visit it was looking slightly rough. We had a fab weekend tho

Union street full of youngsters. The barbican is much better. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars. Also the royal william yard is lovely.

I agree, the Barbican and Royal William Yard are nice. Union Street a no no.
