We are off to yorkshire for the weekend. We are staying near Masham, stayed there in April and went to Aysgarth falls which was great.

We have two kids aged 8 and 4 so would like to find a walk that's not too strenuous ( they do go out walking but 4-5 miles is their limit). Preferably some water they can paddle in, or somewhere else we can go paddling and skimming stones that's not Aysgarth.

Also, we'd like t find a nice pub for tea on Saturday. Nothing posh, just fish, chips and mushy peas type thing but somewhere nice and clean and atmospheric. Not really bothered what it costs.

Thanks!

I have no experience, but the blogger Attic24 lives in Yorkshire and is always posting about lovely walks with her children. You may get some ideas from reading through her archives:
