When is the best time to book Center Parcs?

Looking to book a weekend in October. Currently there is loads of availability. Any advice when is the best time to book to get the best price?

I came here to ask about Christmas break at Center Parcs....
Are meals included? Are the restaurants too expensive?
What is there to do during 4 days over Christmas?
Which one is easier to get to from London and is a car absolutely necessary?

Am very late coming to this thread, booking wise as early as possible as they say it is the cheapest price (I've been going to CP for 9 years) or to book within 28 days of coming back from there!

Re Christmas, the price for CP is always just the villa and the pool. Anything else activity wise and meal wise you pay for. We use the deals in restaurants and only eat out once a day.

No idea about London as I live ooop Norf. We go to Elveden and take 2 suitcases one for the children and one for us, one of those collapsible plastic baskets for trainers/wellies/shoes and we take a few items food wise from home. That said I could easily get all of that lot into 2 suitcases.

Sorry forgot to say, all menus for the restaurants are online so you can see what your meal will cost.

IME, unless you book within 28 days of going there (and get whatever discount it is that they offer you for that) it makes no difference to the price. If it's a popular time, then you may want to book early to ensure you get the accomodation you want, but CP are notorious for not giving other offers or varying prices. Unless you include the MASSIVE price hikes for school holidays!!!!!

I love CP, I really do, but the cost of going in the holidays is just too steep!!
