M5 Bristol - better place to stop and eat

Help please!

We travel down to Cornwall from Oxfordshire quite regularly and leave early in the morning so that we have breakfast on the way.

However, we are heartily fed up with the motorway services on the M5. We need breakfast around 8ish and usually hit Gordano around then.

Does anyone know of a nice place to have breakfast, open on a Sunday morning nearish the M5 by Bristol please?

Thank you.

You could go into Clevedon?

It has a faded Victorian resort charm- and plenty of places for breakfast.

Thank you.

Clevedon looks great as it's close to the M5 (usually it's a little frantic by then as the DSs often need the loo!).

I'll have look round there.

Agree with Goth - come of at Clevedon and follow the brown signs to the sea front (less than 5 mins from the M5)

How many are open at 8am on a Sunday though?

Tiffin opens at 8.30, No 5 opens at 9. Both on the main road along the seafront called The Beach. Don't know about Scarletts - great breakfasts there but only if you have the time to wait for service at their pace!

Thank you so much Mo - hope we'll be at one or the other on Sunday Smile
