Anyone got any cottage/beach/village recommendations in North Norfolk?

I'm looking for somewhere to stay next summer in north Norfolk - we have a wedding in Holt at the weekend, so wanted somewhere reasonably near where my parents can start the holiday with the DC and we can join them later. We went to Overstrand last year which was lovely, and we could go back there again (especially as the one thing we would really like is being less than 10 mins walk to a decent sandy beach) but I thought seeing how we'll be in the same area anyway, we may as well try a different village! So far Sheringham looks ok, but maybe also a bit further along in Bacton?

Anyone have any recommendations?

How about Southrepps?

We stayed at this cottage a few years ago and it is in a lovely quiet spot, not far from Overstrand and Mundesley for some blissful paddling. Just right for walks and blackberrying and perfect for cycling.

A nice pub with beer garden 5 mins walk and not far from the main road for access to Holt/Cromer/Sheringham and so on.

I am jealous I can't come too, tbh
