Anyone with a holiday cottage in West of England available from tomorrow? Please help!

I'm searching for a (very) last minute holiday cottage anywhere in the West of England, from Shropshire down to Wiltshire, sleeping 5 and available from tomorrow.

I've spent the whole morning searching, but I'm becoming more and more frustrated as the searches come up with plenty, but that's only because none of them advertise their availability, so I'd have to contact all the owners individually.

It seems like such a mammoth task!

Ideally, we'd like somewhere secluded, with a garden and plenty of space for 3 boys to run, play and have adventures. I'd love a country cottage, but at this point, I just want too go on holiday!

The boys want to visit Ironbridge and look round Blists HIll, etc. but they also want to see Stonehenge and Cheddar Gorge (and I wouldn't mind wandering around Glastonbury for a day!).

I'm not expecting to be in all those places this holiday, but if anyone has a holiday house that isn't booked, within driving distance of any of these places (or anywhere else!), please get in touch!

Have you looked on cottages4you?

I'd start by phoning cottages4U and Sykes - the problem is that Monday is not a normal start date so they'd need to override the system and book you in for a week starting from last Friday/Saturday. Sykes at least seems to have several cottages that are standing empty at this moment, but which the system won't let you book because it only accepts 7 nights.

Thanks, I've phoned both and got somewhere for tomorrow.
Thanks for the help.
At last, I can start the holidays!

Excellent news, where are you going? Ironbridge is fantastic if you're off there.

That's on our list, Lady, and Acton Scott as well. Ds1 is a huge fan of Victorian Farm and all the spin-offs.

Hiya we have a holiday cottage in mid Wales by the sea available from Thursday. It has two bedrooms and a summerhouse so could sleep five..... 2 mins walk from sandy beach. Me and dh are academic / teachers and on sabbatical. We have a garden with a trampoline in and a hottub you can fire up (it burns wood). Pm me ASAP if you're interested Grin
