Hi, we want to go away with six month DS. I'm not that fussed where as long as it is away from towns and in the country. I guess ideally the Cotswolds, Peak District, Yorkshire Dales or similar. Just need room for DH and me and the baby. I have this romantic image of a lovely cozy cottage with a fire- behind a guard of course:-) Its hard to know where to start so any personal recommendations welcome! Thanks:-)

Heart of the Lakes

sykes

I run a business in the lakes and have had a few tourists recently use these. Theres loads more if you fancy the lakes and do a google but these are the two I remember.

If you can go outside of peak times as well you will usually get more for your money

We stayed in this cottage last year. It's in somerset - lovely area, on a farm and best of all has a hot tub! We would put DD for her sleep and jump in there for 20 mins most nights!

Plenty to do - we went to longleat which wasn't far and there are loads of nice pubs and places to eat around too as well as gorgeous countryside.
