there are no historical places left anymore. everything is very touristified, and costs a packet to stare at roped off sections of old stuff.
im going with my parents as well as kids, so needs to be something that 67 year old dad, and unfit 61 yr old mom can do as well as 3 yr old dd.
lazing on the beach to boring.
everything advertised on the cornwall tourist site i can do staying at home and not paying for transprotation.
am i being too cynical? please give me some ideas.
tia

my brain is going to burst i think
dh has decided he wants to go to cornwall
there is nothing available for 10 people, except for this gorgeous place that wants 3057 pounds for the week.
aaarrghhhh......
so im going fuzzy trying to find places that sleep 10, or even 9 and ill make ds1 sleep in his sleeping bag..

Saundersfoot in Wales was lovely and not as touristy as many other seaside places when we went two years ago. The beach was great too.

\link{http://www.holidaycottagespolperro.co.uk/Polperro/searchresults.aspx?Sleeps=8&Pets=-1&Smoking=-1\Kirk House} in Polperro is lovely. I haven't stayed there but we had a look round when we were there at Easter.

\link{http://www.chycor.co.uk/cottages/fowey-penquitefarm/index.htm\I stayed here} at New Year and this was lovely too. We stayed in the Old Granary.

Not sure about availability though.

oh and last year we went to Portreath in Cornwall. Now that was nice too and only one small shack on beach selling to tourists in the whole town!
