HELP - where to go for 1 night please help me book soemthing today!

we have hte chance me and hub to go away for one night. Kids will be dropped off at family in the lincs area.

Where can we go from there - I fancy gorgeous hotel then somewhere nice to eat in evening

Where are you starting from?

Leeds is nice, lots of great restaurants and shops but no real 'sights'. York is probably better in that respect.

I stayed in a hotel called Quebecs in Leeds city centre for our anniversary last year which was lovely - I'd recommend it! Not the prettiest of cities but lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities!

Leeds doesn't do much for me, tbh. I prefer York.
