2 nights in truro cornwall - recommendations please

Its just me down on business for 2 nights. No dh or kids. I will have meetings all day in truro and no car as I'm coming by train so need somewhere quite accessible to main city truro . If not for that I'd book one of the gorgeous B and Bs that are a few miles away but can't see how I'd get into truro and out again for eash meeting. Can any one recommend somewhere nice in truro or walking distance?

Try mannings - nice hotel and restaurant slap bang in the centre of town. A bit cheaper and a little way out of town is county arms which is newly extended to be a hotel as well. I live here, so haven't stayed at them personally but have had out of town colleagues stay at both happily

Mannings is probably your best bet tbh. I have eaten there but not stayed, food is perfectly nice. It's right in the city centre too, walking distance of everything you need.
