farm holidays - best time of year?

yes i know it's a daft question, but I'm a city girl!

is April best for baby animals? or would may be
too late?

dd held a baby Chick at local city farm at beginning of may and was beside herself with happiness

want to see that look on her face again and hopefully ds wool be old enough to join in too

have a look at cartwheelholidays. they have lots of farm stays. why not send them a question we have always found them really helpful. you could stay on a farm and not be there the weeks the chicks are born so it is going to be a lot more hit and miss than just picking a month ime. have a look here we have stayed a lot of times and they have loads of animals.
