Clifton, Bristol nice hotel

lots seem not to allow children. Grrr. Winds me up. My kids were fine at Gritti Palace and W Times Square for eg so hardly likely to kick off in BS 8.......

Anyway, no.1 at university. Want to take no 4 at half term. Any recommendations?

Avon gorge hotel, great views, ok for kids, has a pub with lovely sun terrace.

The Berkeley Square hotel is meant to be nice, though I live in Bristol so I haven't actually stayed there. It's handy for Clifton as well as city centre, museums, shops and so on. Also right next to Brandon Hill which has a good playground.

Thank you - both look great. Avon Gorge is v near dd too. Will be much nicer than somewhere corporate in the city centre.
