travelling with DT in UK - what can't I forgot?

my DT are now at an age where we don't want them sleeping in the car - how do we keep them happy and awake on a long drive to holiday? DT are nearly 4

Also anything I am likely to forget on a trip to Butlins? I like to be prepared
