Help me find a hotel like Peebles hydro or Saunton Sands

I love both those hotels and we want to go on holiday for a week in June with our 4 month old baby. However, both of those are an awful long way from where we live (Cambridge area).

Does anyone have any recommendations of any hotels that are on the East side of the country or less than 4 hours travel from Cambridge?

We like large family hotels with a nice spa. Either some greenery or a beach nearby would be a bonus.

This Too close? I think they used to be part of a chain if hotels?? The website used to have details of similar hotels around uk.

Have you thought about Centre Parcs?? Not sue when the Woburn one is opening but there's Elveden too ??
