Break for new year as a group with young children between Berkshire and York!

We are looking for a self catering property for a few nights over the New year period.
We will need at least bedrooms.
We need it to be child friendly with stuff for kids to do. They are aged 2 -6.
We would need it to be between Berkshire and York as friends from York will be joining us too.

Any suggestions?
Indoor heated pool would be fab, or hot tub?!!
Maybe a games room or farm animals on site for kiddies?

Could try The Peak District, we used to go to some pine cabins in ashbourne, lovely cabins , pool and small games room.

Sounds lovely. Can you remember the name of it?

Pine lodge holidays , Sandybrooks Country Park . They have another site in the Dark Peak but having been to both the Ashbourne one was better.
Was a few years ago so don't know what it is like now. We all went for a family holiday when my Dad had cancer, it was his treat.
