Bike hire! - What age do the trailers behind the bikes go up to? My neice is 15 months and we wondered whether we will need to hire one for her, or whether she will be too old and have to have a seat on the back of the bike instead. TIA.

Well we managed to cram a 3yo and a 5 yo into one easily so I think that a 15month old would fit.Grin

Mine prefered sitting on the back of our bikes but we needed somewhere to put all the swim stuff etc when we stupidly got a lodge miles away from the pool. Live and learn.

Now they both ride their own bikes. Happy days.

CentrePArcs Virgin here - going to Elveden next week - do we really need to prebook stuff ??

Wanted to dive DH a 'voucher' for something like karting once we are there & let him choose what he wasnts to do (for Fathers Day off DS). Is it better to arrange before we go??

nickiey · 31/05/2006 16:11

Ohh, we are off to elveden next week too! I will keep an eye out for potential whizzz type peeps!

Whizzz · 31/05/2006 17:19

Grin Yes but do I need to pre-book dad type stuff ?

foxinsocks · 31/05/2006 17:21

yes pre book definitely

Whizzz · 31/05/2006 17:22

Oh bum - there goes the suprise then !

foxinsocks · 31/05/2006 17:22

everyone pre books - you may find it all booked up otherwise or the only slots left are really inconvenient

foxinsocks · 31/05/2006 17:23

you don't need to tell him though

they are quite helpful, the booking team, if you give them a ring

Whizzz · 31/05/2006 17:23

OK - will see what dad stuff he fancies doing - Ta for the tip Grin

Whizzz · 31/05/2006 17:24

nickiey - I'll look out for you Grin

CentreParcs Virgin here again - packing for tomotrrow - BUT what do I need to pack clothes wise for me ?? Jeans / trousers + T shirts for evening stuff or something a bit smarter ??

Typically got DH & DS sorted & now flapping about my stuff!

Crackle · 04/06/2006 17:45

We always dress very casually. I have seen a few people dress up in the evening but really, very few people seem to go OTT.

As a general rule, my guide is to pack the amount of clothes that you 'think' you need. Add hair straighteners, hairdryer and loads of make-up. Next, tip contents of suitcase back out. Put back one pair of jeans, one pair of shorts, 4 t-shirts, a toothbrush and a scrunchie.

Sorted.Grin

Seriously, I have even bought home clean clothes from centreparcs. No-one can smell your B.O. when you are going 6oo mph downhill on a bike.

Have a lovely time. We have to wait until July.Envy

Grin thanks Crackle - we don't of course want to look like CP Virgins Grin
