Featherdown farms-Readyfields to be precise.......what do I take ?

Off to Readyfields on Monday. Nice an fresh it'll be.......the website does say it has crockery etc, but what is it ? Do I need mugs for hot choc, for example. Do we have somewhere to sit that's not a dining table and hard chair ? In other words what shall I take to make it a home for 4 nights . Thanks in advance

We're thinking of booking. Would you recommend and what did you end bringing - or forgetting!

Not the OP but we stayed at Readyfields a couple of years ago-was really good and kids loved it.
We didn't need any extra crockery or anything -everything was there -however if there was anything extra you needed I think the farmers wife who runs it would sort you out-she was really helpful.

We took some spare candles with us and the kids took there dynamo torches which they had great fun with in the cupboard bed.
Loads of comfy bedding provided -seats inside are a dining table and hard chairs , however there are comfy,lazing/deckchair type seats at the front of your tent for round the fire or chilling out on.

We took a firefighter thing - much better than matches. Absolutely worth it's weight in gold and I only got it by chance. Sorry I cannot be more specific about what it's called but it worked like a cigarette lighter only with a long metal tube so you could be further from the flame. Used for bbqs?

We did not take, and should have taken, a thermos. It was a bit of a bore to light a fire and wait for boiling water before getting the first coffee of the day. I could have done boiled water the night before.

Friday- did you mean firelighter? I have great visions of your family being accompanied by a fireman able to light a BBQ at a seconds notice!
