North Wales - days out from Prestatyn

We're staying in Prestatyn for a couple of nights over the Easter weekend, does anyone know the area at all? Rhyl, Towyn, Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea or Llandudno all look within easy distance, anyone know what they're like?

We'll have 2 dogs in tow so places for nice walks, dog friendly pubs? Any particularly nice places we should head for? :)

Llandudno is my favourite resort on that coast. It's very old-fashioned and has plenty of nice scenery and traditional seaside charm.

Rhyl is definitely at the bottom of the pile.

Old fashioned and scenic sounds more my cup of tea, thanks!
